Okay Ladies, Listen UP!! Looks like there are only three of us standing on the field right now. Let's link arms, huddle up and keep on moving the ball down the field. We will pray for our teammates to join us when they feel like getting back into the game, but for now we three are standing strong!
Including today we have ten days until it is Thanksgiving. Let's continue Mellymor's challenge of reading labels and I would like to add an additional challenge. Let's eat only the food which is fuel and nourishing for our bodies for the next ten days. No junk! Let's see what renewing and editing our food plan is like.
I was listening to the CD from Renewing Hope while driving somewhere yesterday and what struck me was the verse Carol quoted from Proverbs Chapter 3 - Attitude toward the Lord -
My son, forget not my teachings,
keep in mind my commands:
For many days, and years of life
and peace, they will bring you.
Let not kindness and fidelity leave you,
bind them around your neck.
Then will you win favor and good esteem
before God and man.
**Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
on your own intelligence rely not;
In all your ways be mindful of him,
and he will make straight your paths.
**Be not wise your own eyes,
fear the Lord and turn away from evil;
This will mean health for your flesh
and vigor for your bones.
Honor the Lord with your wealth,
with first fruits of your produce.
Then will your barns be filled with grain,
with new wine your vats will overflow.
The discipline of the Lord, my son, disdain not.
For whom the Lord loves he reproves and
he chastises the son he favors.
So here you go ladies...fuel for thought!! First, let's honor God by eating fruits of produce. Let's eat the healthiest foods we can for the next ten days. I think we will see our barns (spirtual) and vats (emotions) changed for the better.
Hut one, Hut two, Hut three....Let's GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Mellymor and Suzyloosy I accept your challenges....one more challenge....let's pray for each other each day....each day... and for our teammates. I know they are in the process and God is with us all and God knows just what we all need to get/stay on the field; and keep moving!
Looking forward to some good food and some yards advanced down the field with God's grace!
